This wall hanging is made from steel but the
flower petals are made from hand made glass, they have been fitted to the
flowers using window lead. The 3 different sorts of flowers (of which
there are 2 of each) are all 3 dimensional and have different shaped
petals. The red and the blue flowers have domed steel centres with
different finishes but the green flowers have long steel stamens sticking
up out of them. There are different sized and shaped leaves for each sort
of flower with veins stamped into one sort of these. The stems for the
flowers are also different diameters. There is also a dragonfly on the
edge of the frame. The frame is made from square section steel and small
brackets are fitted into the corners to allow wall hanging. The whole
thing is polished and then lacquered to prevent rusting. This one is 900
by 900mm but other sizes shapes, colours or number of flowers could easily
be catered for.
